What Is God’s Will For My Life?

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

I don’t know about you, but I get so sidetracked on this Adventure we’re on,  by spinning my wheels on what, exactly, God’s will is for my life.

In the woods we call them rabbit trails.

But God’s Word clearly states that we can get back on track into the Perfect will of God for our lives, by starting with Thanks.

I know my last post was a little on the “rant-y” side, but here I go again with the shopping centers hopping from Halloween to Christmas, and blazing right on past Thanksgiving.

That’s something to be said about our culture.

And yet, there is so much we miss by neglecting our Praise to  the God who created us,  and gave us everything we have and enjoy to begin with.

Thus, the rabbit trail.

If Satan can get your focus off onto all you don’t have, instead of what you do have, you can get lost really easily.

If you find yourself lost this morning, plug praise into your Spiritual navigation.

Praise is the Passcode to the Presence of God.

“On your feet now—applaud GOD! Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence.

Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭100:1-2, 4‬ ‭MSG‬‬ http://bible.com/97/psa.100.1-2,4.msg

As we Praise Him, He declared that all of our enemies would melt like wax!!!

But even more important…

Praise is comely, or attractive for the upright.

Yes, you’re attractive when you praise.

I know that I’m attracted to praising people more than I am complainers. God is no different.

So, if you’re wondering what to wear today? Put on praise.

Let your adoration and thankfulness of heart attract not only God into your daily life, but others will be attracted to the God you serve, just by seeing you Walk in Praise.
