My family is reading a book right now called Fearless by Sadie Robertson.
The Duck Dynasty family has always seemed like part of our own, as we tuned in every Wednesday evening for new or even old episodes, and waited anxiously for the newest season to come out.
It’s as if we’ve watched Sadie grow up.
However, what you think you may know about someone’s life by watching from the outside, is all together different from what could be going on on the inside, and that’s what she graciously details about in her book-
and it’s blessing our lives.
One of the the comments that she made that I want to share with you today, is simple yet profound, and it originates from her momma, Korie;
“If you fear anything other that God, you’re giving it too much power in your life.”
Here’s why-
| And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. |
| 4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:3-4 |
It’s black and white.
There is God, and there is evil. And God Overcame evil and He’s now inside of you.
I know. We’ve heard that and heard that, but do we believe that? If so,
What do we, then, have to fear?
What are we giving the greatest proportion in our lives?
Greater is He, in us…. that’s the Truth.
The fact is, there are many antichrists in the world. And the facts may be stacked;
Anti-healing, Anti- prosperity, Anti- love, Anti- blessing, Anti-Hope….
anything against the Word of God and His will for us is Anti- Christ.
The Truth is, however, that Jesus paid for you and I to reign over all of that, by the greater power that is Alive, and working through us.
