“Follow the star to a place unexpected, Would you believe after all we’ve Projected-
A child in a Manger?”
(How Many Kings by Downhere)
Mark, our favorite Shark Tank investor often asks the upcoming entrepreneurs what their “projections” are for the following year concerning their businesses.
And after watching Evan Almighty with my family last night, I’m reminded that we all to often have slighted or scued projections for the future.
(Evan thought flood from Heaven, while God was speaking of a flood from natural circumstances)
We think limited and finite, where God sees the whole picture.
We often look on the outward appearance of a situation and not on the heart of the matter.
The Projections of a coming Messiah and King, would have naturally been thought to have found Him in a palace, not a Manger.
A King,
born in a stable,
by a virgin?
“Lowly and small, the weakest of all- Unlikliest Hero, wrapped in His mother’s shawl- just a child, is this who we’ve waited for”-
(How Many Kings lyrics)
And yet,
God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;1 Corinthians 1:27
I’m learning more and more on this Adventure with the Master, to Get Help (intel) from the Helper, (Holy Spirit) concerning my Projections for the future.
Just when I think I have everything figured out on my own, things turn out completely different,
but in a good way.
Someone at church said yesterday that there was a situation in life that He thought He would never get over,
but He did.
(Just stop right here for a moment, and soak that in, He did , get over what he needed to get over and So will you with God’s help.)
My heart leaped because I understood exactly what He meant.
God can, and wills to take all of our broken pieces and make something beautiful, that only He, could make out of it.
Take the Cross for instance, bloody and brutal.
All hope of the Kingdom, appeared as though it would be lost forever. Who would have ever thought any good could come out of what happened that day?
but Jesus didn’t stay in that grave!
He came out of it-
(That’s what it looks like to overcome.)
Yes, He came out, and with the Resurrection Power that now belongs to the whosoever will.
Your situation may seem brutal right now, and your projections of the future, bleak,
but know this, my friend,
that the same God who brought Jesus out of that Grave,
Projected, that the Promises of His Power would be yours to overcome, through the penalty He (We) placed on His Son.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Isaiah 53:10
The pleasure of the Lord, yes, that’s us….
shall Prosper in His Hand.
The virgin, the stable, the Manger, the census, the lowliest of towns, the Cross, the blood shed, the fight for sin, the agony, the victory, was
“All for you, All for me.” – (How Many Kings)
I’m sure I mentioned how I love to know what happens at the end of a movie. If someone has already watched it, I would rather know right then, what’s going to happen.
It drives Dust crazy. But for me, knowing the outcome helps me to process the rest of the movie.
God’s Word tells us the end of our story.
I can’t tell you the details of your future, but I can tell you the outcome.
In Christ Jesus, you’ve won.
In Him, you’re complete, you’re Healed, You’re Restored, You’re Blessed, You’re Prosperous, You’re sound, You’re the Head and not the Tail, You’re Loved…..
But because we have an enemy who would like to steal all of those benefits,
The Struggle is Real….
Our struggle is against the enemy’s lies and discouragement. He too, has projections for your future, but Don’t believe them.
This is how Jesus said you could discern between your future From Him, or from the enemy.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
In Christ, the Projections for your future…
are always Bright. 😎
The Struggle May be real for you right now, but there is Hope.
What seems like death in the life of a caterpillar, during the cocoon stage, looking back from the life of the butterfly, was in fact just a part of the process.
So, don’t panic in the process, you will prosper, in His Hand.
WHOO-HOO!! AMAZING WORD! TY for sharing this My Lovely!
