Last post I shard that God knew you before you were even created.

This morning I came across this portion of scripture, and realized, that you’ve been wired to be you from the beginning.

Jesus didn’t just choose these fisherman at random.

He knew them.

Oridnary fisherman  would become fishers for men for the Kingdom of God.

These men became the pillars of evangelism.

Jesus needed what they were wired to do to be effective in this world.

I encourage you to think of your behaviors and the driving forces of your life.

(Your wires.)

For instance,

I’ve always been a people person. I rarely meet a stranger, and I’ve always had a strong desire to reconcile.

When used in the natural, and not the spiritual aspect, that can get me into trouble for putting my nose in other people’s  business where it doesn’t belong.

I have a fleshly tendency to think I know it all, and you should listen to what I have to say.

However, When used for the Glory of God and in the Spirit of humility, my boldness can help people the way it was intended.

As a former addict, to alcohol, drugs, food, and attention)-

I am now addicted to the Word of God.

God wired you- For His purpose.

The Holy Spirit just brought up to me, the woman at the well.

You know, I’ve talked to you about her before…

(I’m sure im not the only one who “talks about her- the girl with five husbands and the one she’s living with now is NOT her husband, that girl )

She was wired for love. She just kept looking for and giving herself to the wrong lovers.

But When she met Jesus, (Woop woop)

(rather,  when Jesus “must needs go through her town, to meet her-Hallelujah)

She found what she was really looking for, and became filled up with the Love of God.

(Desperation for love is always yearning for the love of God)

She then ran back into her old hangouts and offered that love to everyone. Telling them Jesus is the real deal.

(Right here is where I would bust out “Looking for Love in all the Wrong places-by Johnny Lee)

The enemy wants you to think something is wrong with you. That God could never use someone like you.

He’s a liar.

The Truth is, God already knows you.

All your hang ups.

All your tendencies-

But when you surrender, and follow Him, like those fisherman that day, and like the woman at the well, He will train you to use your wires the way they were intended-

For His Glory, and your blessed life.
