I watched another movie with my daughter tonight.
It was about a cross county team in McFarland, USA.
The kids on the team were to most people, the outcasts of society. They were “pickers”. They had started working in the fields from the time they were ten years old, and to them, that seemed to be all that life had to offer.
But the coach, saw something different.
He saw potential.
What intrigued me the most about the coach was his humility to go work the fields with them so that they could have the time to practice.
It reminded me of this;
1 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
The light of the world stepped down into darkness. So we could walk in His light.
