Serve

I believe God spoke to my heart this morning, and said “it’s not how many people you win, its how many people you serve.”

If we only go after the people we think that we are likely to win to Christ, we have missed the heart of Jesus.

I know. I was like, God, you want us to win people for Christ….don’t you. And Yes, He does, but we can’t bypass the importance of serving.

Look at the 13th Chapter of John.

This was the last supper Jesus would have with his disciples,

his friends,

and He charged them with this;

So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.

Jesus became a servant to the whole world.

He served every- whosoever when He GAVE His life on that cross.

Not just for the “good” ones.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
