“I’m Overwhelming to what’s trying to Overwhelm you,” God assured me yesterday.
This drives home for me the blessed Truth that We have already overcome, them, because Greater is He-
that is in us, and-
He, is Overwhelming.
I looked up that Word, and one of its meanings is to defeat completely.
The things that are trying to defeat us,
yes, HE HAS ALREADY DEFEATED.
Look at this verse in John Chapter 1;
| In him was life; and the life was the light of men. |
| 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. |
That word comprehended meant in couldn’t overtake it.
Light EXPELS darkness.
Jesus overwhelmed darkness.
Look at creation.
In Genesis 1 God called the Light into darkness and darkness had no choice but to be overwhelmed.
Speak the Light of God’s Word into any dark areas of your life today.
Let there be light.
