We sprang forward yesterday.
Yay.
My body didn’t catch up to the excitement though, and I found myself dragging around by 6 pm.
Even after coffee.
I had heard in my spirit during the past couple of days, Thank-FULL=Tank FUll.
Have you ever run your car out of gas?
I have. Recently, as a matter of fact.
No, I’m not proud of my irresponsiblity, but in my defense, my car said I had another 50 miles to go before empty.
Sometimes our lives get like that.
We trust we have enough “fuel” to accomplish the road ahead, only to find out we’ve come up short, in our own strength.
So, I was reminded gently, by the Sweet Love of the Lord, that it was time to enter into His Presence with Thanksgiving.
I began thanking Him for everything from my soap, and my shower, to my breath and the ability to move my hands to wash dishes.
And then after going for a while, I noticed that my energy levels had increased to the point of finding it hard to be ready for bed.
God’s Word is Spot on.
Everything we need is found In Him.
He will never ask us to do anything that isn’t for our best interest.
And His.
He wants to fellowship with us.
We are his kids.
We work together with Him.
Not apart from Him, and I’m learning not even for Him.
On our best day, we can’t accomplish anything that will glorify Him without His Grace prompting us, and enabling us.
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 Corinthians 6:1
It’s energizing to Praise.
It will pull you up from the pit or the puny mentality of defeat.
Thank-Full =Tank FULL
