“And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.”

I was thinking about Abraham the other day.
The Father of Faith, and why He was called that.
Then the Holy Spirit began to remind me of the sacrifice that God asked Abraham to make with His son.
Look at Abraham’s faith statement;
And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. Genesis 22:5
He believed in Resurrection!
He knew, somehow, someway, that even if he had to go through with the sacrifice, the God who asked Him to do so, had Already promised a family through that seed.
Why is that so significant to us?
We believe in Jesus,
the seed of Promise,
who was in deed, sacrificed for us, to make that offering to God for a restoration of a family to the Father.
Abraham was the first to really believe in Resurrection power.
Now we, as believers are trusting in that same Power.
We believe in the sacrifice. That God is pleased with us because of the sacrifice of His Son, and now we have the power of Resurrection Living inside of us.
Think about it.
Life swallows up death.
Yes, we will experience raising to Heaven when this thing is over, but I believe God wants to resurrect the dead things in our lives today.
