There are times we feel we are “out of service” or “range” from the Voice of God.
It seems like picking up a cell phone and watching for the bars to light up until you have some sort of a signal.
But I’m finding that even though I feel that way, it’s only my perception.
God is Always speaking.
How do I know?
¶ God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, |
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:1-2 |
I’m learning that, even though I absolutely adore the whispers of God and feeling His tangible presence, He wants me to learn to walk by Faith, even when it “seems” that He’s not speaking.
The Word declares that He’s already spoken.
The dry seasons are the times of digging from the well, or reservoirs, of Truth that have been handed down through the form of God’s declared will.
The accuracy of the Written Word is fact of the matter.
I was just sharing today how the disciples were told several times by Jesus Himself, what was about to happen.
Yet they continued to misunderstand and question.
Thomas said, Where are you going? And How can we know the way?
Don’t we often ask the same things?
But Jesus would have never expected them to know something He hadn’t already declared.
They just misunderstood what He was trying to tell them.
That’s why He said, “you should know,” ….
just like He often tells me.
“Chelsea, You should know you’re Loved.”
I declared that in John 3:16.
“Chelsea, you “should” know you’re healed.”
I declared it in Isaiah 53.
I believe God is “raising” His Children right now.
Raising us to be doers of what Jesus hopes to find when He returns….
BELIEVERS.
Remember when Jesus said,
“I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8
when He was teaching about prayer?
He desires that the just shall live by faith.
Faith isn’t what we see or feel, it’s whst we Believe to be truth because He said it.
