¶ Now a certain man was sick, namedLazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. |
2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) |
3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. |
I don’t know what “sick” situation you may be facing right now, and it may even possibly be at the point of death,
but God reminded me of this today, and I believe if you and I will receive it,
we will see the Glory of God just like Martha and Mary did.
They sent for Jesus.
Has it ever happened when you’ve sent for Jesus that it seems like He doesn’t answer right away?
Jesus lingered away from their situation two more days, to the point that sickness had moved into death.
I feel like that today.
I’ve sent for Jesus.
But He reminded me that when He did show up, that according to the Word He had spoken to Martha, if she could believe, she would see the Glory of God….
and did she ever?!
I said, “ok Lord, I believe, Like that other man in scripture though, help my unbelief.”
It’s something to note that we don’t have to send for Jesus today, like Martha did then.
Jesus could only be at one place at a time, but through His death, and resurrection, He made a way for His Spirit to never depart from us.
God’s Spirit is always with us.
Reminding us, just like today, that if we will continue to believe, even when our answer seems distant,
we will see the Glory of God.
death; MEET JESUS!
YES!!!!!!!!!!! death MEET JESUS!!!
