I know that the trend of going “Organic” has been around a while now, but yesterday, while chatting with my hubby, that Word stuck out to me in a big way.
So, I looked up the definition;
of, relating to, yielding, or involving the use of food produced with the use of feed or fertilizer of plant or animal origin without employment of chemically formulated fertilizers, growth stimulants, antibiotics, or pesticides
In simplest form; free from contamination…true to origin.
The Perfect will of God.
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” –Romans 12:1
Then as as I read this from a message about being in the Perfect Will of God this morning, a revelation occurred.
Because of all He has done for you.
The Organic will of God is concrete. Firm. Established.
Dust said to me the other day, “for the record”…..
A record is permanent, something established that no opinion can change. It’s Organic Truth.
We have the Record of God’s will in His Word.
You see it in both Gardens….
Eden, and Gethsemane.
God had created everything good and given life giving Seed, handing it over to His Creation, Adam and Eve, who were also created in His image.
But then something happened in that garden…..
A devourer came in through the form of a serpent and began to steal from Adam and Eve’s beautiful, flourishing garden.
How did he do it?
Dissatisfaction.
He subtly turned their attention away from all that God had done for them, to question what they may be missing.
In reality, they lacked nothing.
God, was their source. Organic Life at its Core.
But they yielded their bodies, not as living sacrifices, but as dissatisfied children, because they believed that what God had given wasn’t enough?
I was sobered up by that this morning.
God, have I done the same?
Have I lost sight of all you’ve done?
I can glean from the symptoms of sin that Adam and Eve exhibited;
1.) Separation from Truth- Adam and Eve ran from God instead of To God. Again, instead of Presenting themselves in God’s Presence, they ran and hid.
2.) Covering myself- they made a skirt of leaves to cover their nakedness. (Shame)
3.) Blaming God- they felt he was the source of their problem instead of the answer
4.) Blaming each other- everywhere and everyone I’m around becomes the target of why things aren’t working for me like they should.
All of these symptoms stem from the sin of dissatisfaction.
But, in the other Garden, another Seed was planted, who would bear eternal Fruit.
Making a way back to the Father.
Again we see the Organic will of God.
Jesus poured His heart out to the Father there…in that garden,
he didn’t want to have to die.
He prayed three times to His Father to let that cup pass,
BUT,
He presented His Body a living sacrifice so you and I could be Restored, fully.
We’ve now been given the same fellowship, the same Favor, the Same Blessing, and the Same life producing Seed, that Adam and Eve had access to, only Greater.
Jesus fulfilled what they did not, so that you and I could.
We can present our bodies in the presence of God, when we remember and are Thankful for all it means to be found in Jesus.
Without Him, there is no life.
With Him, there is Life and life in abundance.
I’m choosing today to look at what I have, and not what the enemy would like for me to believe that I don’t.
The Truth is, in Jesus we already have everything.
