“We know a thing or two, because we’ve seen a thing or two…….”

That’s the infamous slogan from Farmer’s Insurance company, but it rings true to my heart this afternoon.

I can’t tell you about what I don’t know.

As a matter of fact, God doesn’t even ask that of me;

Romans 12:6

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

Your  testimony or your Word (that’s what Prophesying is) to someone can only be in proportion to the Faith you have.

Kind of like you can’t spend money for something more extravagant than what you actually have the means to buy.

Yes, we are to think big, and allow our Faith to grow, but I can only tell you about what I know from experience.

This is what I know.

God is Faithful to my family and I.

He is a restorer.

He is a shield of Protection.

He rebukes the devourer,  just like He promised in His Word when we choose to do our part in tithing.

I don’t wish that you were ever in a car accident, but I wish you could have seen what God did for me and my husband.

And the other guy!

Just like Farmers…. you would have to see it to believe some of the things that God has done.

I just want to Praise Him today.

Praise Him for Faithfulness. Praise Him for His Love. Praise Him for His committed pursuit of me.

He is a Good Father, and Jesus is our Faithful Brother, and Author and Finisher of every one who puts their trust In Him.

He leads us into the presence of the Father by the extreme sacrifice that He proved His Love, both to the Father, and to us.

We are Family.

We aren’t orphans.

This I know.

There is never a place where we are without.

He is Everything.

It’s all in Jesus.

Jesus is the measure, the deposit of our Faith.

Our Faith is determined by how much we know about Jesus.

And He loves us.

How do I know? Because the Bible tells me so.

Even when we can’t see or feel, we have what’s written.

Jesus felt hungry when he had fasted and it looked like He was starving, but it was Written….

Man shall not live by bread alone.

It felt confusing when Jesus was tempted by part of His Own Word….

He shall Give His Angels charge, satan said, but Jesus said,

It is also Written, Do not tempt the Lord your God.

It felt inviting to be worshipped instead of to worship, but it was Written…

You shall Worship GOD ALONE.

One of the hardest things to conquer is overcoming what we feel and what we see,

but Jesus did it.

We can overcome just like He did.

He made it available through Grace.

Share what you know with someone today.
