While thumbing through emails this morning, I noticed an email offering Obamacare to those who were still interested.
That’s crazy I thought to myself. The presidency has changed hands.…
How could they still be offering that?
So, this has been a thread of revelation from my Father to me lately, and I’m sharing it with you…
It’s the “residue” mentality.
Remember PTSD?
Sometimes when we look to what used to be, it can appear that it’s still in control of our lives, but the reality is,
The New President is in office, and the residue is on its way OUT!
This is what the Truth is concerning the President of our New life in Christ;
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].”

Now, sometimes we question that when an old attitude or addiction tries to rear its ugly head,
but Truth says, we are New, and those old things have passed away.
Our Job is to focus on the newness of our lives and not on the what used to be.
In Christ Jesus, we have the freedom to divorce our past completely and live under His Reign.
His Name and His Authority supersedes anything and everything in the earth today.
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Psalm 103:19
His Kingdom, His Presidency, rules over all, even the residue of the old administration of our lives.
We are Free. There has been a change of Hands.
