Do you have that drawer in your house somewhere, that hosts several plug ins and cords that you’re not exactly sure what they belong to?
Or maybe you feel today that there are some “wires” loose in your life that you’ve been trying to figure out where, or how, they need to plug in.
With all the connections that can be made these days, We need to be sure we are making the right ones.
The right ones,
come from make the right One.
As I was reading Jesus this morning, I was reminded of this;
““ I am the true Vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit]. You are already clean because of the word which I have given you [the teachings which I have discussed with you].”

We talk more these days as a society, in terms of devices we can plug into, not vines.
But Jesus gave the answer here, as to the most important connection to be made.
Then and only then, we will function at full capacity.
And He goes on to say that we are already clean through the Word🤔
When you are connected to Jesus, you are now functioning from the greatest system on earth.
Just like the Vine is the source of sustenance for the plant, Jesus is the Motherboard of all of our “system’s” functions.
Many times, I find myself trying to make connections without the right source.
It leaves me frustrated and worn out.
Kind of like trying to find the gadgets to fit all those plugs in my drawer,
to no avail.
You really want to pitch them, but you know they go somewhere to something.
Jesus said He is the True Vine, and if we believe the Word to be true, then His statement here has to hold weight.
He is the Truth.
His way is the Truth.
When I stay connected to Him in His Word, I find that my choices to make other connections become clearer.
When I start trying to connect to things on my own, I lose focus.
Praise God for His reminder to us.
We are already CLEAN through the Words He speaks-
And He is still speaking through the Word!
There’s always a connection that works-
We don’t have to dig aimlessly anymore.
If you have a wire loose today, connect it to His Word.
I assure you there will be a perfect fit and when the connection is made… power will come forth.
