Feeding on His Faithfulness

“Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness.”

I’m Feeding on His Faithfulness this morning.

The Holy Spirit is helping to remind me of All that He has done in my life.

Where He has brought me and my family.

How He got us here.

Even Abraham, whom the Bible calls the father of faith, had to return to his “roots” of where God began the call on His life.

Remembering what, and how He has done things in the past can accelerate us into trusting His faithfulness in the future.

When Jesus discussed some of the upcoming hardships and events with his disciples He said;

And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. John 14:29

He said this multiple times as He prophesied what was about to happen to Him.

The same with Abraham.

Look at the first verse of Chapter 12 of Genesis;

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: Genesis 12:1

Had said….

Praise Jesus for second chances!

It’s not too late.

If you are reading this today, then Today is your day.

If you’re asking yourself,

“How did I get here?”

All you simply need to do is return to where you heard God say…..

Whatever it is, you are certain God told you.

Return to your testimonies and how God did it before.

Methods change, yes, but God’s principles are forever.

He does not change.

His Character is Love and Faithfulness.

Abraham went back to the alter at the place of Bethel (house of Bread).

That’s what God is doing for me, and what He wants to do for you.

Take you back to His Word and rewrite your story from there.

Oh, what a Savior!

Will you join us? God and I?

Together we can Do what Jesus called and equipped us to do.
