Bumpers

I’m So Thankful this morning for the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, Jesus.

The Rod and the Staff.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Last night I walked again through the valley, of the shadow of death.

But the Rod, of Truth, and the Staff of Grace, comforted me.

The Spirit and the Word of God are always in Agreement.

The Spirit of God reminded me of this Written Word and it brought my comfort, while I was walking through the shadows.

The shadows are not Truth.

They appear as True, but they are not the reality.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that the very shadow I see, the opposite of that is the Truth.

When the devil said, I had gone too far, the shadows of death compassed me,

But the Rod of God’s Word, and the comfort of the Holy Spirit said otherwise.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

I’m learning to not live by what I feel, or even what I’m thinking.

What matters is what is Written,

that Truth,

is what the Comforter will remind you of.

God showed me that our life with Him is like bowling.

Bowling with bumpers.

(This is another well. This was from 6 months ago, and yet could not be more relative to me today. God truly sets us up with His Word.)

My Jam right now is Defender, by Francesca Battistelli-

“He goes before I know, that He’s even gone to Win my War.”

By God’s Grace recieved, we as His children, get to bowl through life with bumpers.

When we are tempted to turn to the left or the right and not keep centered, the “bumpers” keep us on point.

God loves us so much that he gives us direction and warnings when we start to stray from the right direction.

He is a good good Father.

He’s Ahead of Us, Beside Us and Behind Us.

What a Faithful God. He’s Faithful even when we’re not.

We can Trust Him.
