Daddy was a preacher
She was his wife
Just trying to make the world a little better
You know, shine a light
She was his wife
Just trying to make the world a little better
You know, shine a light

Just to hear their own voice
Those people tried to accuse my father
Said he made the wrong choice
Just to hear their own voice
Those people tried to accuse my father
Said he made the wrong choice
Though it might be painful
You know that time will always tell
Those people have long since gone
My father never failed – Need to Breathe
You know that time will always tell
Those people have long since gone
My father never failed – Need to Breathe
Washed by the Water Lyrics
“Do not worry because of evildoers, Nor be envious toward wrongdoers; For they will wither quickly like the grass, And fade like the green herb.”

As I read this passage in the Bible App this morning I was reminded of the above Song.
and another verse;
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. |
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. |
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. |
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. |
Three witnesses.

Opinions are hard to avoid. Everyone has one.
But what saith the scripture?
When you are rooted and grounded, in Love, no matter how many opinions, no matter how much persecution, no matter how hard situations get, you just grow deeper.
It has been said that when storms come, and they will, that a trees root system actually digs deeper into the soil and gets rooted even more.
When we jump ship when things get hard, we weaken our root system. Every time we move, it gets that much weaker.
But, as trees of Righteousness, planted by the Lord, we will not grow weaker,
but deeper.
