Shared Account

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

I’ve been hearing this from the Spirit a couple of days now.

This title is another well, that I began to dig, and now I’ve returned to finish it.

This time with open eyes, I see what God is sharing with us in these verses today.

Have you ever seen a snake shed it’s skin?

That’s what I see happened when we became One with Christ Jesus.

Our old life passed away. Lost its grip.

It has become severed from us-

That account has been closed-

According to the Spirit.

Just like that old skin has no life in it, just a shell of what was,

so our old life is dead, nailed to the Cross and forgotten.

Again, according to the Spirit.

If we walk after the Spirit,

after who we really are now,

we have a Shared Account with Jesus!

Think of that.

We, like Him, have all of the Heavenly account backing us.

We sign our business in Jesus Name.

He has authorized us to do so.

I’ll never forget the day I was checking out at a grocery store and this whiff of revelation came to me.

I’m not the one who went to work,

but all of my husband’s check goes into our shared account,

and I have equal access to the funds.

We didn’t do the work.

Jesus, our heavenly Husband did.

As His Bride, we are now able to draw from His account.

Hallelujah!

Look at this;

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

We are Heirs!

Rightful heirs, not because of what we did, or even didn’t do, but because of His Righteousness,

our birthright.

I know I’m on a Lion King kick, but Simba was an Heir,

the Rightful Heir.

The enemy, like Scar,  is constantly trying to darken the lens of how we see ourselves.

If we “mind” the things of the flesh,

that means think about all the guilt and shame of the past,

(trust me, been there,)

And I’ve stayed too long in Hakuna Matataville-

then we will not walk out the Fulness of who we are.

Jesus paid too high of  a price for us to live anywhere,  but in His Presence and Purpose for our lives.

But today, I’m heading back to my Promised Land.

Taking my position again Today,

in the Spirit,

beside the King,

where we rule and reign together,

sharing an account.

If you belong to Jesus, then the reality is,

you’re right there with us.

Think of what will happen as every believer awakens to this reality.

It’s time to remind our brothers and sisters to get out of Hakuna Matataville and return to our rightful place of being heirs of God and Joint Heirs with Jesus.

Like Simba returned, and brought life and light back to expel the  darkness,

that had infiltrated the Pride Lands,

we too, will  see the world around us change for the Glory of Our Father,

as we recognize and Take our Place.
