¶ Now a certain man was sick, namedLazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. |
2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) |
3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. |
4 ¶ When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. |
5 ¶ Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. |
6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. John 11:1-6 |
It was True that Lazarus was sick.
It was True that Jesus loved Mary, Martha,
And, Lazarus.
Yet, here is another witness to me, that Truth, superseded True.
I know at some point you’ve been there….
Calling for Jesus?
And wanting to believe that He loves you, even though the things in front of you cause you to question that.
If He loves me, why doesn’t He….
you fill in the blank.
But Get the Truth Here,
Love Did Come through. He Always Does.
Not when, or how they preconceived, but Ultimately the Glory of God was shown in an even Greater Way.
He didn’t just Heal Lazarus, He went above the True, (that sickness had the final say) and brought the Truth,
That He Himself, is the Resurrection.
When you face a deadly situation in your life, and you call for Jesus,
it may appear that He delays,
because He doesn’t love you, or care.
But TRUTH is, that not only is the Answer on its way,
He is the Answer, and wants to use His love for you, for His Glory!
Greater than you and I can preconceive.
