A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Psalm 91:7
According to Facebook reports, a dear friend of mine informed me this morning,
that we supposedly had a small earthquake in our area around 2am.
As I spoke of this too my little girl,
she alarmingly responded,
“We should just move to Japan.”
“Japan,” I told her, “is also known to have earthquakes.”
Her response reminded me of so many, including my own, at times.
If things get scary where we are, we should just move locations.
But the reality is, no matter where we move,
or who we move in with,
there is still an enemy at work in the earth.
Yes, I believe there are times that God will strategically re-locate us,
according to his plan for our lives,
but not just because fearful things are hitting a little to close to home.
It reminds me of the new movie release, Overcomer.
You should see it you haven’t yet.
If you have, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
If you haven’t,
well,
go watch it and then you will know what I’m talking about!😉
It’s being able to Overcome whatever comes against us.
Overcoming is something that happens as we dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High.
There, we abide under His Shadow no matter what comes nigh us.
I have experienced this, too many times to count.
In the midst of circumstances, I was kept.
God reminded me of this last night as a matter of fact.
He said, “Chelsea, I’m not circumstantial, I’m stable.”
Circumstances change.
Earthquakes happen.
Tsunamis hit.
Weapons form.
But GOD, and His Faithfulness, never wavers.
He is the Rock we can Hold on to, come what may.
