Getting High

5 Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; andthy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

Psalm 36:5

I felt mundane today.

And yesterday.

Yet, for the past few days the Holy Spirit  has challenged me to give Thanks.

He reminded me of a time before, when I saw a simple, wooden ladder,  and was overjoyed at the thought of all the testimonies I could write on each step.

I believe they could touch the skies.

I start to think on these things, and before you know it, I’m High.

High in His Love and enjoying His Presence-

where there is Fulness of Joy.

I believe that’s where Grace finds us..

you may have heard that in a song,

but it does.

Grace finds us in the every day and the mundane,  and reminds us of what we do have,

when everything else tries to point to  what we don’t.

For instance,

I believe God is coaching me as I run.

I had been running at least two miles a day, some times three,

when I was challenged to run two in the morning and two in the evening-

every day.

I came in from my first run the other morning and complained to Dust about my time.

What????

I say I got a hold of my self, but I believe that’s where Grace found me.

And reminded me-

of the me who couldn’t run four laps a couple years ago.

The enemy and the “inner me” is constantly trying to get our focus on the need or want instead of the Supply.

Think of How Jesus viewed the loaves and fishes in comparison to his disciples.

He saw Provision, and they saw the lack thereof, as they weighed the ratio of need- to supply in their own minds.

Jesus took what was Provided and got Thankful for it,

and it took them from the natural into the Supernatural.

They all got High from His Thankfulness.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9

I admonish you to start climbing the ladder of Thanksgiving.

At each step, Praise Him for His Faithfulness.

You’ll Be High Before you know it!
