Digging for God

I keep hearing God speak to me lately of How wealthy I am.

It started back in the Garden, He reminded me-

and then,

it was reinstated through the Blood Of our Lord.

I was overwhelmed at this thought again, while I was reading the creation account to my Son the other night.

Yes, before Adam and Eve ever stepped on the scene, God had provided all they would need, and then some.

Our Father is so Extravagant.

He didn’t just make a single cow, but instead a plethora of creatures that captivate us and leave us in Awe Of our Creator.

If we would just turn our attention in the right direction.

Upward, not outward.

It’s  something that the wealthy, as we know them, in a worldly sense,  have gained  their wealth from what has already been deposited in the earth-

by our God,

and yet we tend to compare what we have to what others have, ➡️

when we have the same access. ⬆️

I was just talking with a friend a little while ago who knew of a place where diamonds are found.

It’s also funny to me that we are so quick to go on about the splendor of a diamond ring, that someone has simply found,

as they have uncovered  it out of the earth.

I’m reminded of how God says that;

¶ [[A Psalm of David.]] The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalms 24:1

Everything came forth and has been deposited by God.

It’s up to us to search it out.

Hence-  us coming to realize just how wealthy we are.

The wealth is in the Word.

We dig it out-

by our hearts desire to know more of Him,

and the Holy Spirit’s yearning to show us.

I say we let the Gold Rush begin…..

I admonish you today to start digging for God!
