Living on the Edge of my Seat

I can’t take credit for this thought.

I actually heard Toby Mac share his heart for his new song and it has blessed me.

At this present time, I believe there are two kinds of seat dwellers.

Those living on the edge of their seat, and those hanging on the edge of their seat.

One lives out of the excitement about what The Father will do next.

The other is hanging on

in fear of the future-

It’s as though they are watching a scary movie.

As a disciple of Christ, we should always live in eager expectancy.

When I read my Bible, I place myself in the scenarios of Jesus with his followers.

In Every day, life, with Jesus, someone or multiple some ones were getting healed, delivered, or raised from death.

It should not only be the same, but Jesus said, more so, because He’s gone on to the Father.

We should expect results.

God does.

His plan is for us to become workers together with Him.

We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 Corinthians 6:1

Frustrating Grace, I believe, is not fully engaging in and walking out the plan of God for our lives.

I just read this and it is like a boost of added flavor to what the Holy Spirit is stirring in me to share:

You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Working with God is simply living on the edge of our seat in expectation of what God has planned for us next.

Because He saw who we would become-

and not how we were acting in the moment, our lives are being transformed.

That should be the standard for sharing the plan of God with others.

This scripture is for any whosoever!

I don’t want to stand in His presence when this part of life ends, and find that I had so much more that was planned for me.

It’s like planning this awesome, fun-filled, action-packed adventure for your family vacation, only to have everyone want to stay in the room!

So, I encourage you today, if you’re hanging on the edge of your seat, read all of Psalm 139.

Allow the Holy Spirit to minister truth to wash away the lies about God’s heart towards you, and His plan for your life,

If your living on the edge of your seat, I’m excited with you.

Leave a post about what God is doing through your life right now, as you work together with Him.

Let’s Glory in what He is doing.

Testimonies raise the bar for expectancy.

If God did it through one, He will do it through all, who have the heart to believe Him.
