Algebra

“not just by saying, “I am intimate with God,” but by walking in the footsteps of Jesus.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

If you didn’t already know, I am a homeschool mom.

Yesterday I was reminded of just how little I actually knew about Algebra.

My daughter is in the 7th grade this year and it was like a sneak attack.

I thought we would have a longer ‬‬relationship with addition and subtraction basics.

Anyway, I had this revelation of what Religion looks like, after I had to school myself

again

before I could be beneficial to my daughter-

We can have head knowledge of something and even pass a test, but if we don’t really know it, we’re just the blind leading the blind.

Religious.

Isn’t that what Jesus said?

The religious folk appeared to “know it on the outside” but their hearts were far from Truth.

Truth was standing in their midst and they missed Him.

Praise Be to God, though, who always gives us Truth Seekers, the Victory.

The Holy Spirit coached me through that mess and now, almost twenty years later-

I Know Algebra!

It’s the same principle in our faith walk with Jesus.

We will have sneak attacks- if we are aren’t prepared-

and it will reveal just how much we really Know about Him.

Jesus isn’t into the fake- it-to-make-it program.

He’s in the transformation of hearts business.

He died so we could not only look like Him, but also beat to His Heart.

I’m telling you- There is “no-thing” that intimacy between you and the Holy Spirit can’t solve together.

He IS wisdom.

Don’t grieve Him or resist His ability to help you.

Embrace Truth when He reveals it.

What you don’t know can hurt you!

And others as well.

If you are leading someone, make sure you are first following Jesus.
