A Star is Born…..in a barn

“and inquired of the people, “Where is the child who is born king of the Jewish people? We observed his star rising in the sky and we’ve come to bow before him in worship.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I can’t remember what celebrity had “A Star is born” as the movie title accredited to their biography,

But I couldn’t help but think of Jesus being the Ultimate “Star” that was born.

Yet He showed up in a stable-

He’s been Leading us from the beginning.

You see very quick the two kingdoms is contrasts.

One of Humility, the other Pride.

Look at the next verse.

“King Herod was shaken to the core when he heard this, and not only him, but all of Jerusalem was disturbed when they heard this news.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Jealousy.

Fear.

One Kingdom motivated by humility and Thanksgiving,

The other terrified of losing it’s stature.

This is a litmus test for me.

True Humility proceeds honor.

Jesus was The Star of the Earth and His Father Glorified Him in the Heavens.

Those who knew what true stardom was followed,

And then they worshipped.

Those who had exalted themselves were terrified.

See the difference.

When God is pleased with you, (through Jesus) it doesn’t matter if you’re on a stage or in a stable,

God will see to it that you’re brought forth to where you need to be.

He can bring people from “afar” to meet your needs without you saying a thing,

When you trust Him.

Oh, how this blessed me this morning.

Wise men still seek Him,

And when He is found, they Worship.
