Ok, for two days now I have been seeing Romans 8:1.
Even though I Know that verse by heart, it appears as though Father has a bull horn blasting to get my attention.
Why is it so important to know that there is therefore,
Let’s just stop there….
My Gran always said, when you see the Word “therefore” you need to stop,
and see exactly what it is there-for!
There, fore, meaning from there, on out.
From this point fore-ward…..
Therefore, if any man be in Christ….
What exactly does that mean, In Christ?
It means to be One with Him.
To be fully immersed.
Again, my Gran, would take a little cracker and drop it in a jar of grape juice,
swirl it around and say,
“Now, can you tell where one ends and the other begins?”
The day I surrendered my life to Christ, ended the distinction of where I ended and He began.
I’m fully immersed in Him.
When God sees me, He sees Him. When God sees Him, He sees me.
If any man be in Christ….
there is no condemnation…..
No condemnation.
If you’re condemned,
with no sense of hope,
you can rest assured that it isn’t Christ condemning you.
He isn’t condemned.
So, you aren’t condemned.
No, He is seated next to the Father, ever interceding for you.
Not condemning you.
The accuser of the brethren, satan, he it is, that condemns you.
Notice, the accuser of the brethren.
Who’s brethren?
Jesus’ brethren-
us.
For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He may be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:29
I know it boggles the religeous mind, but Jesus is our big brother.
How would life change for us if we started believing that.
That we could go to Him,
for everything.
He actually has “been there. ”
Wherever, there is for you today.
He was tempted with the same temptations,
yes, all of them.
Yet, He never sinned.
So, that He could faithfully, and judicially, intercede on our behalf when we face the same things.
Yes, Father, I hear you.
And see you.
I see the “signs” and they are opening my eyes, wider still, to your Love for me.
I’m reminded this moment, of that hike, we are on together,
Remember?
And if you have ever been on a hiking trail,
no matter your experience, as a hiker,
you still have areas, where you’ve walked for a long while, and yearn to see those signs.
Those little arrows, indicating to you that you are headed in the right direction.
I believe if you are reading this today,
allow me to say to you,
“Here’s your sign.”
Let this Word of truth, Open Up your eyes.
Awake to Righteousness.
