GRACE; The Story of My Life

of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues

I don’t know about you, but I’m in desperate need of God’s influence exerted upon me.

And Actually, I do know about you…

Grace is the story of us All, who have received it.

The very gift of life….

That pregnancy concept that I talked about yesterday,

We couldn’t even have the ability to live life, or receive Seed, if it weren’t for God giving us the breath in our lungs.

I sing that often…

“It’s your breath, in my Lungs… so I pour out Your Praise, I Pour out your Praise.”

Anyway-

I was blessed again this morning by the definition of Grace.

Notice it was God’s merciful Kindness, not our own works, that turned us to Christ to begin with.

Right?

I know I wasn’t worthy.

I had broken every law imaginable.

So then why is it we sometimes try and Keep ourselves, or think that we need to?

I’m not talking about staying with the Word.

I’m talking about trying to keep a law.

It says, He keeps, strengthens, and increases us in the Christian Faith.

Hallelujah.

We may not be where we want to be, but when we know Grace has brought us this far,

We can be assured Grace will take us onward.
