Standing in line yesterday– at the Marts-again–
The lady in front of me struck up a conversation as she noticed the chips in my cart.
“You’re like me” she said, “you must love chips!”
I felt like Kevin McCallister, as I retorted back,
“They’re for the kids!”
And this time, they really were.
Dust and I have changed our eating habits and chips are no longer my every day staple.
We did however, have a cheat meal Sat in which we were introduced to a restaurant with potato skins that would make any diet cringe.
Sorry– squirrel!
Anyway, As I told her about the restaurant that would tickle her fancy for potatoes, I noticed her gloves–
And then she began to tell me thather husband wouldn’t even get out of the house these days.

She said, she would just wear gloves and go on about her business.
Now, I’m not trying to discredit anyone, I’m just trying to get to the root of fear,
That is stealing from people’s lives.
These people are considered “Shut ins.”
Isn’t that what the above song is all about.
Staying in your boat.
Remaining in your comfort zone.
All because there are so many voices that you hear telling you what you can and can’t do.
Yet, there is only ONE Truth.
He always calls for you to get out and come to Him.
I was going to give you two examples of “epidemics“.
And I will, briefly.
You can look them up.
One is David, the shepherd boy who faced a Giant, and his army.
Yet, one Stone, released in Faith was able to knock the giant in one whack.
Then you have Elisha and his servant, totally surrounded with an army of darkness-
But Elisha had insight and asked that God open the servant’s eyes so He could see the Truth…
That the darkness that tried closing them in, was IN FACT surrounded and overcome by LIGHT!
If that’s not enough to Fire your Spirit,
Let me remind you…
Jesus has put hell in its place.
Making a show of the enemy and his powers.
It’s not a battle any longer in the Spirit.
Jesus HAS ALREADY conquered.
The enemy is Defeated.
The war lies in what we know.
What we know comes from who we are listening to.
And Who’s Voice is allowed to ring louder?
The One you turn up!
The Voice of Truth is speaking today.
Turn it up!
Allow The Word of God to silence the fear, the critics, and the deception trying to tell you that you can’t do something Jesus paid for you to do.
There is a GREATER (Jesus) than every Old Testament saint, LIVING ON THE INSIDE OF YOU.
