Worn Out

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there isnothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

In all that’s going on, the Lord led me to these verses the past couple of days.

What was a reality in David’s mind,

we see from Scripture,

was not at all the reality.

David made it!

He went on to recover ALL!

He didn’t die.

However, there was a major burn down in his life.

We see that in the catastrophe at Ziklag. 1 Sam 30

But the burn down did just that.

It burned down the fear out of his heart.

Preparing Him for leadership.

Let me remind you that a GREATER than David lives in you!

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I know what it’s like to be so tired, that the stack of feelings and facts begin to motivate your heart, and then

your mouth.

But remember, Life and death are in the power of the tongue.

Let’s not fall for this same temptation.

The reality is… God is keeping you.

Just like He did David.

Just like He did Jesus.

You’re the apple of His eye.

Don’t believe or settle for the lie.

You’ve already overcome!

We overcome through the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony….

Start reminding yourself of where and what God has already done.
