“But about midnight when Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;”
Acts 16:25 AMP
I know I’ve been quiet the past couple of days.
Not because my heart hasn’t been flooded,
But I’ve been asking the Holy Spirit what He would have me to do and say at this hour.
After speaking with a sister in Christ yesterday, about the questioning of submission to Authorities,
I was led to this passage.
This is the New Covenant, response to Authority and Imprisonment.
Paul and Silas Praised–
In the middle of their imprisonment.
We can either gripe and complain and “why us God,” in the middle of our confinement…
Whatever that may be-
I’m not just speaking of physical quarantine,
But situations that seemingly have you closed in-
OR,
We can be led by Paul and Silas’ example, with pure hearts,
and Praise God, RIGHT WHERE WE ARE-
You know why-
Other “prisoners” are listening!
This is an opportunity folks.
The world, imprisoned by fear and hopelessness, needs to hear your loudest form of faith-
Praise.
When Paul and Silas praised, not only did they shake their shackles,
But the JAILER AND HIS WHOLE FAMILY WERE SAVED!!!
I wish I had a caps lock for the caps lock on that statement. 😬
Our Jesus is in the Business of Salvation.
Are we not workers together with Him?
So, come on…
Let your Praise raise Higher than the pressure, politics, and pain!
We serve the same God as Paul and Silas.
I hear those chains breaking!!!!
LOVE THIS!!! WE ARE SET APART!! DIFFERENT !!!
