Burn down

““Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. “At midnight they were roused by the shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet him!’ “All the bridesmaids got up and prepared their lamps. Then the five foolish ones asked the others, ‘Please give us some of your oil because our lamps are going out.’ “But the others replied, ‘We don’t have enough for all of us. Go to a shop and buy some for yourselves.’ “But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked.”

While still in sleep mode early this morning, the Spirit of God began to minister to me about double confirmation.

I heard the words, “Half-way” and got a picture of the middle of a football field.

Then several bible accounts came flooding up.

First, He showed me the incident where the disciples were in the boat. Mark 4

Jesus has Already “passed” them the Word.

“We are going to the other side.” He had said.

Then, the storm came-

While they were half way there.

They fumbled in fright, but then someone had the brilliant idea to “WAKE UP JESUS!”

Oh, come on and do a little dance with me.

When Jesus was called upon,

Immediately… say it with me… IMMEDIATELY, He rebuked the winds and the waves.

Notice, He didn’t get in a fight with the devil,

He spoke to the problems.

He rebuked the Wind… the source, the prince and power of the air,

And then spoke to the waves.

(He ad-dressed the root, and the fruit)

He remained in Authority.

Then He “ad-dressed” the disciples.

“Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

These boys had already seen some things.

But the situations they were in had their boats rocked.

Still, Deliverance came in Chapter 5.

Jesus showed them the way.

I want you to notice that when Jesus was called upon, half way-

Words were spoken, again.

The Word had been given, but now Jesus was confirming what He had already declared they would do.

I wanted to give you the New Testament example first.

The next two are Old Testament.

The first example, was the Promise made through the covenant of the Faith of Abraham.

God had promised He and Sarah a Seed.

But somewhere in the middle,

Half way- they got tired of the wait and helped God out.

So they thought.

Like I said before, when you try to squeeze yourself into the Victory ensemble without Grace,

It won’t fit.

But once Abraham saw that something went wrong-

He sought the Lord back at Bethel.

God confirmed.

“As for Me….”

Oh Hallelujah.

God’s callings are without repentance.

He never changes His mind.

We are the ones who have to get turned back around.

That’s called repentance, by the way.

Anyway, God spoke a confirmation, and Isaac was born.

Victory.

I’m just now getting the upload of the Magnitude of this Revelation.

The next burn down- half way- marker is the example of David’s Ziklag experience.

God had anointed David.

David got half way and then got worn down because of fear.

Everyone had turned against him.

Families were stolen and taken into the enemy territory.

Sound familiar?

Now, more than ever, I see families who have been hauled off into enemy territory.

Ok. Now we’re fired up.

Back to Ziklag,

David had to encourage himself in the Lord.

Do you remember our Hero, Jesus?

How He did the same in the Garden.

David did the same, and put on the Breastplate of Righteousness.

Only then, it was a shadow of the GREAT ONE TO COME.

That breastplate that Jesus died to give Us!

David was still under the law.

A shadow of the Good things to come.

Brother,

Sister,

If you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s Seed and heirs according to the Promise.

The Promise of the Spirit.

The Promise of Life over Death.

The Promise of Resurrection Power.

Which brings me to the very beginning parable Jesus taught about these Bridesmaids, and their half way position.

They had all left, hadn’t they?

They had all been promised the Return of the Bridegroom hadn’t they?

But five were foolish.

They tried relying on the flesh to make them a provision instead of the Spirit.

That’s what the oil represents- the Spirit of God.

Religion will run out.

Hear me…

Religion won’t make the long haul in waiting for a Jesus.

It can’t.

That’s why Jesus said I never knew you.

Intimacy, or Knowing Him, is only Born of the Spirit.

9 ¶ But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Notice the wise virgins didn’t get caught back up in foolishness.

“Go buy some for yourself, they said.”

When, and if you get caught back up in religion half -way, it will try to hold you back with it.

Don’t get caught back up in it.

Paul Warned the Galatians of being bewitched.

Read Galatians.

Paul said, having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect in the flesh.

You can’t have both.

The flesh will burn you down.

Religion is of the flesh.

Ask me how I know.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

I got caught up again, in the flesh.

It was scary and it almost cost me dearly.

BUT GOD!

Because Greater is He that is In Me, I was able to Overcome.

And I’ll never go back.

I’ve left and I’m living the rest of my life to tell about it.

The Family was the First thing that Abraham recovered.

The Family was the first promise that David recovered.

The Family of God is what our Hero came and RECOVERED.

The Family is what I’m working with my Father to recover.

I believe we’re halfway right now.

Somewhere between the Word coming, and coming back again.

From now,

until then-

the completion of our Deliverance and Victory-

our job and responsibility as His disciples,

is to Awaken Jesus inside of us,

the Resurrection Life,

And Rise to every occasion.

Taking our Authority, and reminding captivity, that it has Already been taken Captive.
