Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon; Jeremiah 29:1
These people were supposed to be taking their enemies captive, not the other way around.
But have you ever been there?
As a child of God, you have this underlying realization that you are supposed to be victorious, but feel like you’re defeated, more often than not?
Have you gotten carried away by this world’s way of doing things?
That’s what happened to the children of Israel. Their disobedience hand landed them in captivity.
But God sends them WORD (prophecy) through Jeremiah.
This same Word is resonating with me, today.
I know the thoughts I think towards you….says the Lord….Jeremiah 29:11
I am seriously crazy over my husband. There are days that I just think of how handsome he is and that I’m the most blessed woman in the world to get to look at him every day.
But when I tell him, he doesn’t always believe me, and when I call him on it, He says, “yeah, you don’t do that,
Until you do!
Or God’s.
I know what I’m thinking towards him, but just because I’m thinking it, doesn’t mean he believes it,
the same as my not believing his thoughts towards me at times…
But God wanted you and I to know, so much, that He not only said it, but showed it.
For God So Loved the world that He gave….
Jesus.
Will you believe it?
Don’t let yourself get “carried away” by the madness in this world.
Believe the True Prophets, and Live.
The Word is Secure and True.
Regardless of how we feel, or what we see, or even what we think.
If He said His thoughts towards us are to do us good,
Then I’m making a decision today, to BELIEVE IT.
