I don’t even know, exactly, who it is that coined this phrase, but I heard it loud and clear this morning while I was reading this;
1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
It’s not a matter of being pardoned.

It’s “in those sacrifices” we try to make, to make ourselves feel better about what we’ve done.
Brothers and Sisters, that’s not redemption.
That’s adding to the one True Sacrifice.
Redemption was bought.
I need to believe it, and receive it.
I need to “fuget aboutit” after I bring it to the feet of Jesus.
Our conscience is what trips us up.
We remember our sins.
And those of others.
He doesn’t.
He sees the debt paid with no trace of stain.
We’re the ones “who know what we did last summer…”
So, simple ingredient today…
LET IT GO.
Why would I dare try to hang on to something my Father and Savior have let go of.
I’m not able to carry it.
The weight will crush us, if we don’t.
Will you unload and Believe with me today?
I declare the Emancipation Proclamation.
For All.
We’ve been Pardoned.
Freed.
Now, Free your mind….
And the “rest” Will follow!
