Both

“Two have now become one, and we live restored to God and reconciled in the body of Christ. Through his crucifixion, hatred died.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Have you ever been put in the position to choose a side?

Because hearts are divided, I’ve seen that broken hearts often pressure other hearts to be broken.

It’s called a borrowed offense.

However, if I’m in Christ, there is never a choosing of sides.

My Christ is not divided.

By race.

By Culture.

By Gender.

By Status Quo.

Not even by the greatest of hurts.

Christ is WHOLE.

And because He is whole, and fully restoring us,

It’s against my new nature to take sides.

Jesus’ death, paid for both sides.

Division died in Christ, and now,

Reconciliation restores.

Reminds.

The Spirit of God is constantly reminding us of who we are.

When we remember or acknowledge ourselves as whole,

We see no room for division.

Jesus made a new race.

A new culture.

The Kingdom of God is not like those of the world.

He said that we would be known for our love for one another.

I admonish you today, to choose His Side, the one that was broken for you.

That spilled the blood that cleanses your life.

As you see yourself made clean, let it be a reminder of the cleansing for that other person.

Instead of leading them away, or dividing them from truth,

Remind them of who they are, and what has been done for them.
