“But the Israelites walked right through the middle of the sea on dry ground, the waters forming a wall to the right and to the left. GOD delivered Israel that day from the oppression of the Egyptians. And Israel looked at the Egyptian dead, washed up on the shore of the sea, and realized the tremendous power that GOD brought against the Egyptians. The people were in reverent awe before GOD and trusted in GOD and his servant Moses.”
Exodus 14:29-31 MSG
As I read this account this morning-
it was like deer in my Spirit leaping over green meadows.
A total restoration from the past months of it being more like a deer panting for water.
As I thought on the title, thinking of something catchy,
I was reminded again, of maybe rather convicted by the Holy Spirit on why I’m doing this.
There are countless blogs.
Countless books.
Podcasts.
Commentaries.
But the Scripture,
The Loving, Living….
Scripture, says, that we will Overcome, by the Blood of the Lamb-
And the Word of our testimonies.
All of them.
Yours and mine included.
Somebody needs to hear what God did.
And,
Is still doing.
Lauren sang it best…
“He’s still rollin stones.”
Jesus is Alive.
Not just a fairy tale.
He lives through the Word, because He is THE WORD.
I’ve recently experienced the Presence of God in a way similar to the Israelites.
The Past behind me.
Creeping up.
And my future unknown.
All I knew, was that God was with me.
What I felt-
Fear.
What I chose, by His Grace,
was Faith-
That the things that lie ahead are Greater than the things I’d been asked to leave behind.
And then came the Word of the Lord Sunday.
As I stood with a heat overtaking my body,
I heard this confirmation:
You’re past experiences will pale in comparison to the Greater things that God is doing in you.
GREATER.
Greater is HE that is in me.
Perpetual Greatness.
That Seed is in all of us.
So, will you come on over with me.
Come over this situation by His Blood, and by my testimony.
Come on over whether you feel afraid or not.
I tell you that where He leads is always above and beyond not only what you feel, but could have ever asked or thought.
Come on over temptation.
Knowing that God would never ask you to lay down anything that’s of value to your life.
He is the Author of Life.
Give Him the access to tweak the pages in your story.
After all, He is the One who wrote it.
Come on over competition.
We’re a family.
Our gifts are meant to share.
Overcoming.
It means just that.
Coming over.
Jesus said there would be days like this.
But I’m here to cheer you on-
because He said I could.
“Be of Good cheer- I’ve overcome the world”-Jesus
