“Just then some people brought a paraplegic man to him, lying on a sleeping mat. When Jesus perceived the strong faith within their hearts, he said to the paralyzed man, “My son, be encouraged, for your sins have been forgiven.””
Matthew 9:2 TPT
That’s me...
I thought to myself just now.
When I saw these words,
“My son, be encouraged, for your sins have been forgiven you.”
This man was alive.
It wasn’t that he had no life.
But he was being carried by others at this point in his walk due to paralysis.
I don’t know if it was a full or partial paralysis, but the point the Holy Spirit emphasized,
Was the why–
And if you have been paralyzed lately,
it’s to your why too, this morning.
Notice Jesus didn’t say, you’re Healed,
But rather that His sins…
WERE FORGIVEN!!!!
Brothers and Sisters, condemnation is debilitating.
It paralyzes us from moving forward into the life God has and desires for us.
I’m doing a happy dance in my heart right now.
I’m pretty overwhelmed.
Look closer with me.
“MY SON… Be ENCOURAGED…”
Not young man, or woman, or friend,
But, MY SON.
I don’t know who else I’m sharing this Bread with this morning, but I’m dancing with you!💃
Wherever you’ve been laying, is no longer your residence.
Today, right now, you’re MOVING.
No more stiff neck, no more stiff joints, no more tired bones.
No more dependency on others getting you to Jesus.
No, you, my friend, are the King’s Son, and today you’re Word is Encouragement.
Hallelujah. Read the end of this chapter and see that the time of movement is here, and needed.
The enemy has tried, but has not and will not succeed at keeping the Sons of God paralyzed.
We have a harvest to reap for our Father!
Today is the day to Be encouraged.
Get up and move!
