There’s chatter of another lockdown.
I’m recalling to mind how that in the beginning of all of this mess, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart to “quarantine my mind.”
So, for the past couple of days I’ve been mulling over this scripture.
In essence, if we quarantine our minds…
Keeping or resisting “disease” from our thinking,
We will prosper in all other areas, including our bodies.
The Bible also says that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
I think I’ve been healed and made whole by the Blood of Jesus.
What about you?
Or, like me, do you at times, let your thoughts wander “out there” vulnerable to toxic and even deadly things.
No face mask or social distance can take the place of not letting our thoughts about the Truth of God’s Word be contaminated by the “dis-ease” of this world’s system.
So, what does it look like to quarantine your mind?
Well, for starters, it means getting into the Word where we allow the Word to get into us.
When we focus on the headlines and propaganda of what social media is blaring out,
We are desensitized to the prompting of the Spirit of God as He is trying to speak Truth.
I’m fully persuaded that the reason David saw Goliath with a different perspective than that of the rest of the children of Israel, was because David’s mind was quarantined in Worship.
He didn’t allow his thoughts to wander into enemy territory by listening to the taunts day after day.
Shut it off.
And shut yourself in… to the Truth.
Allow God to tell you what the future holds,
not Facebook.
