¶ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Why would this fella sell out if he didn’t believe that he had found all he had ever longed for in the kingdom?
Yet, as believers, we run to and fro looking for something more to add to our vast library of information or “words.”
I had this thought yesterday-
I believe by the Spirit-
I don’t want to know more. The devil knows a lot.
I want to understand Who I am in Christ.
The devil is terrified of that.
If you have Jesus,
You have it all.
Jesus gave more than you could ever have need of.
Just like God created the earth and then sat man in the Garden,
To tend it-
So Jesus totally fulfilled all we would need, and then some…
Or He wouldn’t have said, “above and beyond what you can ask or think.”
Let this spur you today.
Instead of going with the flow of the world’s mentality-
Constantly feeling sorry for itself..
Saying that it’s underpaid and overworked-
We bear the Light and Love of the Gospel.
We are SO OVERPAID, and underworked.
