Just Say The Word Jesus

“Jesus entered the village of Cana of Galilee where he had transformed water into wine. And there was a governmental official in Capernaum who had a son who was very sick and dying. When he heard that Jesus had left Judea and was staying in Cana of Galilee, he decided to make the journey to Cana. When he found Jesus he begged him, “You must come with me to Capernaum and heal my son!”

So Jesus said to him, “You never believe unless you see signs and wonders.” But the man continued to plead, “You have to come with me to Capernaum before my little boy dies!” Then Jesus looked him in the eyes and said, “Go back home now. I promise you, your son will live and not die.” The man believed in his heart the words of Jesus and set off for home. When he was still a distance from Capernaum, his servants met him on the road and told him the good news, “Your son is healed! He’s alive!” Overjoyed, the father asked his servants, “When did my son begin to recover?” “Yesterday,” they said, “at one in the afternoon. All at once his fever broke—and now he’s well!” Then the father realized that it was at that very same hour that Jesus spoke the words to him, “Your son will live and not die.” So from that day forward, the man and all his family and servants believed.”

So many things I want to share with you in this today.

But let me back up,

I’ve been battling symptoms since Wednesday before last,

Right after I delivered a pop up message, about pop up storms.

Sure enough, just like Jesus did for His disciples then,

He does for His Disciples now-

He gave me the Word, first.

As days progressed, and symptoms got more fierce,

One of my fellow disciples said to me,

“Well, where are you in the water?”

Meaning,

If you read Mark 4, water surrounded the disciples, and was thrashing up a storm.

So, I allowed the Holy Spirit to show me what I was actually up against.

Waves, (symptoms) are not that big of a deal, when kept at bay,

But when they rage…. threatening your life expectancy,

they begin to cause-

Fear.

There was the underlying depth.

Fear of what the symptoms could mean.

Well, let’s play this out, just like Jesus did with the storm…

He spoke,

Peace,

Be still,

because He had Authority over the waves,

And over the wind.

He took authority over what was causing trouble in the water.

For me,

No matter what the symptoms are,

He has given me authority over them.

Didn’t He say,

That He has healed every disease?

Then that covers every.

Tiny wave to massive Hurricane.

But go back up and look at this fellow man in the scripture.

He’s like us.

“Jesus, I need you to be with me…

Show me something, and then,

I’ll believe.”

But Jesus Spoke, and that was Enough.

Same with the Storm.

When the man, believed what He said,

Something drastically changed in his Son.

The same is true for us today-

Just say the Word Jesus.
