Tattle Tale

““Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭MSG‬‬

When I opened this, I had literally just uttered, underneath my breath,

“Father, what do you want me to do.”

There had been an incident.

It’s now four days later, and I believe the Spirit, who is life, wants to resurrect the situation.

In that secluded place of the Father and I, away from my desire to tattle tale,

And make known my verifying that I was in the right,

Holy Ghost showed me my error.

I happened strategically upon Matt 5: 5-7.

Expounding on meekness, I realized I was off.

Instead of truth wrapped in beauty, I displayed my brown paper sack again.

Thank God, He doesn’t see our agains like we do, because they are erased.

Which leads me to the next line of business.

If I want God to see my “agains” erased, then I need to erase all the other’s agains from my memory as well.

Phrases like, you always, or that’s just how you are, need to be deleted from my vocabulary.

Then I would move on to verse 23

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

I literally made a phone call between these verses while blogging this.

And was inspired to say, and do this verse.

God is more concerned with the heart behind our gift, then the actual gift.

Motive is everything to Father.

That’s why He said the pure in heart would see more of Him.

Show me someone who is moving mightily in the presence of God, I’ll show you a heart pure before Him.

You can’t fake life.

What you behold, you become.

I looked a little more like my daddy today, by beholding Him.

I could have tattle taled, or I can tell the tale, of a Father who created and designed us for Glory, and then got us there by Grace!

Now I can bring my gift, Graced by God to the Alter.

I now can share my heart, reflecting His, to see Glory in His body on the earth!

What a Precious Savior.
