“And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance;”
Romans 5:3 AMP
Tis the season… of those hollow chocolate bunnies.
Bummer.
The Lord began to minister to me last night about how the wait in our lives can put on the weight in our lives.
Like as in heavyweight champion.
I remember a messages someone shared before about our Words bearing weight.
Some people talk like those bunnies, empty and hollow.
But others, have a backing-
a sustenance, to what they are saying and ministering to you.
It’s like the peanut butter filling!
You recognize, they’ve been there.
There’s volume to their testimonies.
That’s what waiting on the Lord produces.
Ask me how I know.
Recently, while in a ladies meeting, the Lord reminded me during worship, that I had been given what I asked for.
I had asked for Him to search me and find any hidden thing.
And He did.
It didn’t look as pretty as the prayer I prayed.
Sometimes we don’t even really know how Good our Father can be until He answers us from the depths of what we pray for.
I wanted my family to be whole.
We had to identify some areas that were broken before God could do that.
We had to wait patiently.
On God, and each other.
But I never realized how Good it is to be whole.
Not hollow.
It’s the thorough work that produces the filling of our lives.
