What’s Wrong With This Picture?

* I’m posting two today. Check out this post and The Confirmation.

Again, I’ll show you what The Father is doing in me instead of just writing. Had I posted this on the original air date, Friday, it wouldn’t be as significant as today, when I’m watching this Word play out before me at Sunday’s Sunrise service. I had the privilege of eye witnessing “the change of clothes… pretty dresses became prettier hearts!”

“Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching. The chief priests and the scribes were looking for a way to put Him to death; for they were afraid of the people [who listened devotedly to His teaching, and who respected His spiritual wisdom].”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭22:1-2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Holy Thing; unholy hearts.

You know, we have a Holy Thing approaching.

Some call it Easter.

I call it Resurrection.

And the more I dwell on it, for me it’s like Treasurection!

I’m passed waiting for something to happen and onto Praising and promoting what has happened on the cross.

We have treasures because of what Jesus has done for us.

While others are out collecting eggs, I’m in hot pursuit of the promises that were fulfilled to change my circumstances.

Can you just picture us, as the children Jesus said He yearned for us to become more like.

Sunday at church, or yet, most eager, today,

Finding Healing and shouting out with joy,

“I’ve found it, I’ve found it!”

Or perhaps the Promise of Long life?

Or provision?

Still looking you find Joy,

Peace,

Gentleness,

Courage,

And the Greatest of all finds,

Father’s Love!

Oh, what a day, excuse me, days, filled with treasures unlimited.

Yes, Holy Thing.

But what about our hearts?

Do they match?

While people are planning to match dresses and hats,

Are we planning on matching our hearts with the Holy Thing?

The religious people in the above scripture, were engaging in the Holy things,

With murder in their hearts.

I say, never me Lord.

I wouldn’t murder.

But then Jesus responds, with me even harboring contempt towards my brother or sister-

as murder in my heart.

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:21

Forgive us Father. Help us change from just pretty dresses, into pretty hearts before you.
