“So he ran on ahead [of the crowd] and climbed up in a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way.”
Luke 19:4 AMP
But Chelsea, you’ve been sharing about the power of delay.
Yes.
This little fella, the Word says, named Zaccheus, got ahead of himself–
Whatever else he could have been doing, and ahead of the crowd so that He could strategically wait upon the Lord.
I was just reminded of this from Holy Ghost.
About two weeks ago, I did the same thing.
There was a certain speaker that was coming through town, and the crowd was there, seemingly without me.
What seemed my little stature, was folding clothes, while watching several towns away on Facebook,
when I Heard The Master say,
“I’m coming to your house today.”
“When Jesus reached the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.””
Luke 19:5 AMP
Oh Hallelujah.
God knew my heart was ahead and waiting for The Word, Himself.
And He manifested Grace to me.
I was able to spend time with my family this particular day, with the awareness of the God who said He would never leave me.
That’s the Truth.
He doesn’t come and go like He had to while walking the earth.
But He told His disciples that by His Spirit, He and The Father would manifest themselves to them.
So, after serving my family, (the crowd) He opened a way for me to get to where my heart desired.
That’s just what He does.
He notices.
He noticed Zaccheus, noticing Him, and He was pleased to spend the time together.
So, get on ahead of yourself, and the crowd.
Notice Jesus. Wait for Him.
He will notice and spend time in your house!
