Be Careful Little Eyes…What You See

“I am writing to you, little children (believers, dear ones), because your sins have been forgiven for His name’s sake [you have been pardoned and released from spiritual debt through His name because you have confessed His name, believing in Him as Savior].”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

As Isaac walked into the bedroom the other night, munching down on a fresh, crisp, apple,

My heart beamed with thankfulness-

again-

for being able to have food for my family.

The day had left me tattered.

My eyes had been focused on many negative things that left me feeling beat down and worn out.

But then, my eyes were open, in that moment to see clearly.

I’m never without.

Little children, John writes,

you,

Have been pardoned.

Pardoned means I’m in this world and the chaos and confusion,

But I’m not of it.

I don’t belong to it.

The Truth is, I’m actually surrounded with Salvation.

As sure as Issac is provided for, so am I, as a little child of my Father.

As a matter of fact, that apple came from my Father to me, to give to my child.

Everything that was made, was made through Him.

So, my prayer this morning is for your eyes to be opened to the same truth.

That the Light comes on for you amidst the darkness.

We are Blessed.

The curse of this world can’t penetrate that unless we allow it.

I just told a friend yesterday, that the devil already knows he’s defeated and stripped.

He is waiting to see what we know about it.

There are distractions hurled a hundred miles an hour at our thoughts every day,

But when our eyes are open, we can see them for what they are- just distractions.

Thank you Jesus.

That quick, through an Apple, I was reminded, by the Sweet Holy Ghost,

Of who’s I am.

Of what I have.

Because I’m pardoned.

I’m family.

I share an inheritance with Jesus-

Every promise is mine.

This same scenario played out in the Old Testament, for our example,

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?16 ¶ And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. 2 Kings 6:15-17

A much Greater than Elisha is here.

Living on the inside.

So when we get an alarm, like Elisha’s servant,

The Greater One speaks to our hearts,

AND OPENS OUR EYES TO SEE CLEARLY.
