“For this reason, they are [standing] before the throne of God; and they serve Him [in worship] day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them and shelter and protect them [with His presence].”

A few weeks ago, while I was in corporate worship, I had a strong desire to ask the Father how He wanted to be worshiped.

He gently responded that He had already told me the answer through His Word.

Followers asked Jesus the same question.

“What must we do to work the works of God?”

I see this the same notion as what was in my heart that night.

“How can I be the most pleasing to you?”

What was His response then?

It’s the same now…

Believe on Him whom He sent.

As I was reading the above scripture in Revelation about the glorious and devout worship ceremony that was unraveling in my thoughts,

I was drawn back to Jesus.

And How He was worshipped here while walking on the earth.

Yes, there were times the people broke out in “praises” to God, but the majority of pleasing Worship to Jesus, and His Father, was his family of believers simply believing HE WAS.

He was.

And He is, Everything.

All we could need and even desire, today.

So, as I’m preparing to go to Worship this morning, I’m thinking of all the things on my heart that are trying to make it heavy.

I believe, the greatest and Highest form of Worship is to really lay them all at His feet in declaration of His supreme reign over all things.

Believing He loves me-

As He already said He does. John 3:16

Believing He’s healed me, as He’s already said He has. Isaiah 53:5

And. Believing that I’m accepted. Ephesians 1.

As we enter into Worship, let’s set our hearts to Believe what we are saying and singing to the Lord.
