Satisfied

“Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father and then we will be satisfied.”

We may not say this to Jesus, but have you ever prayed something like, “God, if you just heal this sickness, or get my finances right, then I’ll really be satisfied?”

Whatever the prayer may be, it’s still us trying to gain something-

that Jesus said we already have!

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, nor recognize clearly who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:8-9‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Here is a key to the Kingdom.

Where Jesus is, the Father is.

“Have I been with you for so long?”… I hear Him whisper to me this morning,

And you still don’t know, or recognize,

All that you have in Me.

Of course this is solidifying after just hearing a teaching, on the anointing, and how we already have it.

If we truly realize what we have, we don’t look for something else to satisfy us.

Look at this for example:

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Acts 3:6

Such as I have….

I don’t believe Peter was saying he was broke.

But He was saying He had what that man really needed to be satisfied, and that was healing.

He wanted to walk again!

God sees past the task at hand, to the desires of our hearts.

He knows what we yearn for to be satisfied,

Yet so often, we are the ones who stop short.

Just like Jesus said,

We don’t recognize.

The woman who made the little room for Elijah-

Remember her?

And how she seemed satisfied, but God knew the underlying desire of her heart.

He wanted to satisfy her-

But she didn’t recognize the power that was present.

Do we?

I mean, really, do we?

Do you realize, that as a born again believer that you have every need met in the Heavenly places according to Ephesians 1, and it can manifest today, based on your receiving?

I know this is stirring me.

To recognize clearly, and know, just like Jesus told our brothers.

If we’ve seen Jesus, we’ve seen the Father.

In other Words, if I’ve seen one area of the Word manifest in my life, then the rest of the Word is working on my behalf as well.

Let’s raise a Hallelujah!

Here’s to knowing and recognizing our King.
