Square Roots

‘‘Tis the season…

That’s over for us, now, as school just ended.

My daughter finished the 8th grade and I was caught off guard, to say the least, in my timeline of where square roots and Algebraic equations would be popping up.

Maybe she just grew up faster than I was thinking.

Or maybe, I wasn’t as prepared as I thought I was.

Like we learned together in Math, if the fundamentals aren’t understood properly,

it can have quite the effect in all other areas.

Let’s look for a moment at proportions, as I have mentioned before.

Fear in the world around us is out of proportion.

With as many professing believers out there,

We should have an advantage.

But the proof is in the fruit.

Right root, right fruit.

Just like the above image.

What we see, is what we are.

It’s the square root of what we believe.

If we’re suffering from fear and anxiety,

We’ve simply not mastered or memorized the right foundation.

Our root system is off.

Contrary to a false belief, Math is not relevant.

It’s a system.

2+2 always equals four!

The same applies here:

Perfect love casts out fear!

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; Ephesians 3:17-18

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.19

Like Peyt, my daughter,

I had to go back and revisit my foundation.

I began experiencing a deeply rooted fear, that could only be casted out by a deeply rooted love.

I’m still working through math problems!

Any circumstance, plus faith in Jesus = VICTORY!

But as we know, any faith, times zero (by negating what you believed by your own words, = Zero.

Any number times zero is zero.

That’s why Jesus told Jairus to only believe.

Cancel the Fear.

Only believe what?

That Jesus is always the RIGHT ANSWER.
