I had been looking, or should I say hoping, that I would find this after losing it a couple of weeks ago.
It’s just a cheap little earring.
But I like it.
As I rejoiced over the thing, by myself, because none of my family was home,
Holy Spirit reminded me of the lost coin.
And then the lost Son.
And the lost sheep.
How much more, does Father, along with all of Heaven ReJoice, over the lost one, now found.
Much more, my Gram used to say….
Several things for me in this.
First of all- I gave up to soon.
It obviously wasn’t that important to me, or I would have kept looking.
The Father, The Shepherd, and The Woman, in all of these lost accounts, never quit looking.
Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,4 ¶ What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.8 ¶ Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?9 And when she hath found it, she calleth herfriends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.11 ¶ And he said, A certain man had two sons:12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.17 ¶ And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.20 ¶ And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.22 ¶ But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
I have to be honest, during this time of waiting for the parts to come in, so we could start the restoration process,
I was tempted to stop the blog.
There was a mess up with my debit card, since it had expired, and it made it complicated for me to get back to writing.
I had to prematurely renew my account, and the thought occurred to me that I could just move on to something different.
But that thought never occurred to God.
“You told them you would be blogging about the Restoration process. You gave your Word,” Holy Spirit reminded me.
But now I see it’s more than that.
This blog is not just about me writing about what’s going on in my life,
This is Father searching for the coin, the sheep and the Son.
Is it you?
Do you know, and believe the Father would go through such lengths to get to you?
The Ultimate example of His Love for you will always be the cross.
That’s proof.
But He was, and is also personal, and longs to find you, right where you are.
I had a ministry inside the church walls, and God began dealing with my heart about two and a half years ago that I was to go out.
I didn’t like the idea much.
I was comfortable and people seemed to like me there.
It also came through a tough transition.
Any time God shifts our gears there’s gonna be some turbulence.
Think of the last flight you took.
Changing altitude always causes a thud.
But looking back, now I see what He was doing.
You know how I always say in the mouth of two or three witnesses, the Word is established.
I found the other witness to what Father was doing in the ministry of Jesus.
While everyone was talking about the latest and greatest baptism service, (all of the rest of the “coins,” if you will)
Jesus excused Himself and had the need to go through Samaria-
To find and Rescue, The One.
That one, then spread the love of Jesus to her whole region.
Hallelujah!
The enemy of the Gospel has so tried to get our focus by looking at the spreading of disease at this time,
But I’m here to declare that Jesus is Greater than any disease, and if we are going to spread something,
Let it be the Gos-pill!
The Gospel changes everything.
Jesus might not have been dealing with Covid, but He did deal with leprosy- a highly contagious disease.
I just read yesterday where the ten lepers kept their distance, yet, crying out to Jesus, The Ultimate Healer, they went on to their church at the time and presented their healed bodies to the priest.
I had a similar experience back in December.
Jesus is still as powerful today over Covid, as He was over leprosy, but it’s up to you to take it.
They were the Ones Jesus was looking for.
To manifest His Glory in that area.
Is this you?
Have you been struggling to get close to Jesus because the world has told you to distance yourself?
Maybe it’s not Covid.
Maybe you feel that the sin you’re in is too much for Jesus.
Like that Prodigal Son the Father was looking and longing for.
I declare to you that everyone of us has fallen short.
Jesus is the Only One who was without sin.
God doesn’t grade on a slide scale.
Sin is sin.
If you have missed Him by an inch it’s the same as a football field!
But GREATER IS THE SAVIOR than the Sin.
You may have heard the Hallelujah Song…
It’s the Hallelujah Song, because the fall was minor, in comparison to the MAJOR LIFT!
If this is you in any of these parables, that Jesus reminded me of, to remind you,
Then Praise Jesus, I’m Re Joicing over you with Him.
There’s a party going on in the Father’s House right now in your honor!
Salvation is as Simple as receiving this Truth in your heart.
Here’s what Paul told the believers about being saved:
But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:6-10
