It’s been days.
All I could see was trees.
Every time I opened my eyes, more trees.
I had a vague idea of what Father was showing me.
The importance of focus, I supposed.
For several days, hours upon hours, were spent looking at trees-
Of course that would be on the forefront of my thinking.
So that’s a good lesson.
Look at Jesus-
Daily.
Hourly-
And His way of life will be at the forefront of our thoughts.
I was starting to see clearer, both spiritually and physically.
Literally, as I heard the leaves and watched them crash to the ground, the visibility in the woods, was broadening for me.
But, then He added the remembrance of Jesus walking the blind man out of Bethsaida and touching his eyes with His own spit!
And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.24 ¶ And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. Mark 8:23-24
This was progressive healing for the blind man.
Jesus touched him, again!
Hallelujah.
Perfect!
He could see Perfect!
And I believe that’s what Jesus just did for me.
And He wants to do that for you.
As I’m rehearsing this this morning, I see clearly.
He, Jesus sees men as trees!
Jesus wants my focus, yes.
His focus, is His people!
His perfect Vision is to see a forest full of people in the Kingdom that He provided for them.
People are at the forefront of Jesus’ thoughts.
That’s why He came.
We must not look past the simplicity of Christ’s ministry.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM, WOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.
We can’t miss the forest for the trees!
In the same chapter of Mark 8, Jesus is the one doing the Thanking.
He thanked the Father, for what He had placed in His disciples hands, that He already knew would be able to take care of people.
I encourage you to read this whole Chapter of Mark 8 today.
If you’re struggling to see what to do next,
I believe Jesus wants to give you, His, clear Perfect vision.
It’s His People!
